Hi,
I am a political science major attending UC San Diego in fall 2003. My main interests are in foreign studies and science and technology policy, specifically space policy. I'm also a media junky and may pursue documentry or film exploits some time in the future.
I was inspired to start this web page as a result of watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos when I was young. I was also blessed with dark skys and became an avid amateur astronomer. I can't help but ponder the billions of planets that must host life throughout this magnificient universe. We humans are the basic proof that there is life in the universe and I think we would do our speices a big favor by voyaging on to study the solar systems surrounding our own, after all, our radio signals have passed many thousands of stars already. We are telling the universe that we are here, so we better know how to greet what lays in store for us. . .besides, space exploration is good for the economy.
If you haven't seen my web site Interstellar Missions, then please do so and feel free to let me know what you think. If you are really interested in interstellar missions I urge you to join the Planetary Society and order the Cosmos series to become more informed and help in this greatest of human endeavors. I also have a "stellar" link page and I encourage you to use this thorough resource to learn more.
